My paintings are focus on day-to day life and tend to record my memory by my on painting language.
This painting is about the item that I saw in the common kitchen where I spent my first year in London. I remember that was a Saturday. I woke up and went to kitchen to make my breakfast. And I remember my flatmates had a great party in that common area at the last night before that Saturday.
I believe the way that painters use brushes will actually shows the mental state of the painter themselves. And the brush-style also control the atmosphere of the whole painting. I decided to paint quickly to express the passions. Passions will remind me of the party night. But I also seek peace. I was tring to find the balance between passion and peaceful.
Thibault Jandot's paintings gave me inspirations.

I can feel power, energy in his painting, the motion of the runing animal comes into viewer's sight vividly. I think he painted quickly, as I can feel the movement througth out his body. I was try to learning how to use my brush as decisive as he use.
