Masashi Waku, photographer from Japan. This serise of works is about the landscape of Tokyo.

 

A little thing can link to the huge world. All these pictures will make me think the conceivalbe story behind these pictures. These alley will be full of people that daytime. Youth, eld, couples, pets, all these living things will carry on their own way and become a landscape for the viewer. I  think a beautiful picture will have the feature that can land viewer inside that world.  And this, in a way ,is a target that I wanna reach in my painting.

 

Recently , my work is forcing on the my memory(items which I remember, place which I have been there)  All these things is basiclly about the nomal live which I went through. But memory is always be unclear, floating. Waku's pictures bring me some idea that can pull all those cilps together. And I also will try to get the idea how a urbanscale will look like. At the same time it's always good to learn the shadow and light, composition from good photos.
